Job Title: Loan Associate
Location:
Remote (EST Time zone)
Salary Range:
up to 1800 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST)

Position Overview:

The Loan Associate supports US-based loan processors by managing critical tasks for efficient loan operations. This role suits bilingual professionals with experience in mortgages, accounting, or finance, and a strong customer service background.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction:

  • Handle high volumes of phone calls (English and Spanish).
  • Address inquiries and troubleshoot mortgage-related issues with a sense of urgency to resolve customer issues quickly.


Pipeline Management:

  • Assist in managing the loan processing pipeline.
  • Collect and organize client documents.
  • Facilitate the seamless transition of loan files to subsequent stages.


Administrative Tasks:

  • Order any necessary documents relating to the loan and uploading them to the CRM once complete.
  • Ensure loan files meet established checklists.
  • Calculate income using standardized documentation.
  • Leverages a strong sense of urgency by communicating quickly and effectively via email and phone with all stakeholders.
  • Manage data across tools like Salesforce, Airtable, Notion, and lender portals.
  • Perform other administrative duties as necessary.


System Management:

  • Consistently keeps CRM and loan platforms up to date on a regular basis, maintaining upkeep on an hourly basis.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Experience: Background in mortgages, underwriting, accounting, or call center customer service.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in G-Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Other Skills: Excellent communication, attention to detail. Strong time management, proactive approach, ability to prioritize urgent tasks.


Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with Salesforce, Airtable, Notion, or lender portals.
  • Any background in the mortgage industry, which would be a significant asset.
