SVI Recruiting Group is a leading recruitment agency that specializes in connecting top talent with companies in the financial industry. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Special Assets/Loan Workout Officer to join our  bank clients team on a full-time, remote basis.

As a Special Assets/Loan Workout Officer, you will be responsible for managing distressed loans and developing strategies to mitigate risk and maximize recovery for our client. This role will focus on Small Business Administration (SBA) loans, so previous experience with SBA loan workouts is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and analyze distressed SBA loans to determine the best course of action

- Develop and implement workout strategies to minimize risk and maximize recovery for the company and its clients

- Negotiate with borrowers and other parties involved in the loan workout process

- Monitor and track progress of workouts and provide regular updates to management and clients

- Collaborate with legal and other departments to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies

- Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in loan workout, special assets, or credit risk management

- Strong understanding of SBA loan programs and regulations

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proven negotiation and communication abilities

- Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining a high level of productivity

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan management software
