We are currently looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our Scrum team and contribute to the development of groundbreaking solutions for one of the top mortgage companies in the U.S.
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our back-end services and automation processes. You will collaborate closely with a team of engineers and QA specialists to implement best practices in quality assurance and develop automated testing frameworks from scratch.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests for APIs using tools like Postman or equivalent.
- Conduct both manual and automated testing for APIs to ensure robust functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to understand the system architecture and testing requirements.
- Work in a Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Engage in knowledge sharing and mentoring of junior QA team members.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
- Experience with Spring Boot API framework.
- Solid understanding of AWS Cloud services.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL databases.
- Proven experience in API testing, both manual and automated.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Familiarity with SQL.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies, particularly React.
