Business Intelligence/Data Analyst (Remote)

This is a remote position.

• Business Intelligence: Develop a core understanding of the business and provide data-driven insights by providing end-to-end business intelligence solutions by identifying/finding relevant data and presenting it to the executive team
  
• DataAnalysis: Interpret data to identify key actionable insights including but not limited to business trends, root cause analysis etc.
  
• DataVisualization: Build data reports using data visualization tools such as Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  
• DataPipeline Management: Implement and maintain data pipelines between various operational systems and our data warehouse using Python, Air byte, Prefect, and integration platforms.
  
• SQLandDataWarehousing: Utilize expertise in SQL and cloud-based analytical data warehouses to manage and query data efficiently.
  
• ETL/ELT Best Practices: Apply deep understanding of ETL and ELT patterns and best practices to design and optimize data workflows.
  
• Python Programming: Write Python code for data processing tasks and automation.
  
• Data Integration: Collaborate with other teams to identify new data sources, estimate the feasibility of acquiring specific data sources, and integrate them into the data infrastructure
  

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Analytics. Engineering, Statistics, Economics or related field
  
• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence related role
  
• String Skills in SQL and Data Manipulation
  
• Proficient in Python and other programming or scripting languages
  
• Strong communication skills - can effectively communicate with team members across all departments from executives, engineers and scientists
  
• Willing to work as an Independent Contractor
  
• With ready and stable internet connection and equipment
