Overview

3500 Square LLC is seeking Customer Service Representatives to support our Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) 2024 Emergency Response Contact Center Team. This role requires providing courteous and professional assistance over the phone, adhering to prescribed scripts to guide callers through form submissions, and ensuring the accurate completion of forms to facilitate the smooth processing of claims or applications related to disaster relief and emergency management efforts.

Position Details:

  • Type: Short-term, seasonal position.
  • Location: Remote.
  • Eligibility:
    • Must be a U.S. citizen.
    • Must pass a FEMA background check.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

The Customer Service Representative will serve as a primary point of contact for individuals needing guidance on resolving issues or identifying the appropriate resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of incoming calls in a fast-paced environment.
  • Identify and resolve customer issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide clear, timely, and professional responses to customer inquiries.
  • Build sustainable relationships with customers through effective communication.
  • Deliver accurate and complete information using appropriate tools and methods.
  • Respond to inquiries about client services, provide solutions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, process accounts, and organize related documentation.
  • Adhere to established communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 1 year of customer support or client service experience.
  • Skills:
    • English proficiency (Spanish bilingual candidates are a plus).
    • Strong verbal communication and active listening abilities.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
    • Strong research and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency with computer operations, including multitasking across applications, file management, and troubleshooting basic technical issues.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
    • Demonstrated capability to manage crisis situations and resolve challenging inquiries.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
