About the role
Are you a somebody who can design content to simplify complex messages, generate engagement and push a brand’s boundaries? Do you have a proven track record in storyboarding, production and animated video? Are you convinced that by creating content strategically, it becomes infinitely more impactful?
If so, you’re who we’re looking for to join our team!
As a Multimedia Designer, Video Production, you’ll be in charge of creating videos (animated, corporate and event), photography and digital promotional materials. You will manage multiple projects and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Location: Toronto (700 University Avenue)
What you’ll do here:
Use design principles and creative thinking to establish design direction.
Participate in consultations on communication mediums, purpose and target audience to guide the design process.
Be in charge of video projects from storyboarding to shooting and release.
Prepare production materials, meeting specifications and production schedules.
Promote company events through videos and photos per organizational needs.
Act as a brand standards consultant.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in video production, graphic design or multimedia design, or equivalent experience.
Three to five years of professional experience in multimedia design and video content creation.
Advanced knowledge of storyboarding, visual design principles and animation.
Extensive experience with Adobe Suite and in-depth knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities and consultation skills.
Good knowledge of photography (events, portraits and retouching), an asset.
Proficiency in communicating ideas and justifying creative choices.
Robust portfolio demonstrating consumer-focused creative thinking.
Knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, an asset.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS/PHP/JavaScript, an asset.
Strong organizational and planning abilities.
Outstanding collaboration ability.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and assessing issues and trends.
Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and function effectively in a high-volume environment with tight deadlines.
Availability to travel for certain projects.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
