Sign Designer (ZR-372)

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Signage Designer to join our team. This role involves designing, planning, and coordinating various types of signage, including custom designs for commercial and retail clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design, familiarity with manufacturing and fabrication processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver impactful, high-quality signage solutions.

Must Haves

• Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related field; or equivalent professional experience in signage design.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic or signage design, with a strong portfolio showcasing custom sign projects.
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, SketchUp).
• Excellent visual design skills with an eye for detail, colour, and typography.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes and materials used in signage, including vinyl, metals, plastics, and illumination techniques.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects with varying timelines.
  

Responsibilities

• Develop creative signage concepts and designs based on client specifications, brand guidelines, and project requirements.
• Produce high-quality digital renderings, mockups, and detailed production files for client presentation and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to review and finalize designs, ensuring feasibility, compliance with regulations, and adherence to client needs.
• Use design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD) to create technical drawings and graphic layouts for various signage types, including illuminated, dimensional, and wayfinding signs.
• Stay updated on signage industry trends, materials, and fabrication techniques to incorporate innovative design solutions.
• Coordinate with production and installation teams to oversee the pre-production process and ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to timelines.
• Ensure all designs meet brand standards, local codes, and accessibility regulations.

• Job Timings: Night shift following US EST Time Zone (night shift)
• Office location: Off to Shahrah-e-Faisal, PECHS, Karachi

Regarding the remote, the candidate will arrange a separate workspace and the required gadgets (Laptop-Corei5 6th generation minimum, noise cancelling headphones, webcam, power backup).
