A Day in the Life
Are you ready to join an extraordinary team on a mission to transform the lives of peripheral vascular patients and customers? As Product Manager for Peripheral Vascular Therapies in Germany, you will be responsible for driving marketing activities to accelerate the adoption of our Peripheral Vascular therapies such as PAD, AV access and Carotid, support market development, gain market share, and achieve Medtronic’s ambitious growth targets, with a specific focus on new product launches and emerging indications.
The Peripheral Vascular Health (PVH) Operating Unit is dedicated to the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous diseases. We offer our physician customers a comprehensive suite of products and therapies to treat varying degrees of vascular disease — disorders of the circulatory system outside of the brain and heart. Our goal is to help healthcare professionals save limbs, reduce pain and treat disease — so their patients can get back to enjoying what they love.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Managing the marketing plan development and execution for Germany, including the development of the marketing strategies, customer segmentation and targeting, the implementation of campaigns and tactics.
- Consistently and effectively communicating appropriate product, market, clinical, and competitive information to the local sales organization.
- Coordinating the participation to local conferences and events, including booth, contracts, and speakers.
- Leading new product launches, including pricing strategy, internal training, dissemination of promotional materials, internal and external communications, and launch tracking.
- Ensuring the dissemination of the latest scientific data at local conferences and events.
- Establishling strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and leverages KOL to promote products.
- Managing local supply and demand activities, including the prioritization of product allocations.
- Ensuring marketing expenses stay within the approved budget (Annual Operating Plan).
- Supporting local tender applications by providing the necessary product, technical and clinical information.
- Developing competitive and market intelligence in collaboration with sales organization and third parties.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or vocational training in a relevant field
- Minimum 5 years relevant sales experience within medical device industry with a proven track record in overachieving commercial targets
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills & excellent business acumen
- In depth knowledge & experience working with the German Healthcare system
- Extensive experience in building & developing highly engaged & successful teams & individuals
- Fluency in German & English
- Ability to Travel- Across the region for business meeting & customer engagement events (>50%)
- Knowledge of reimbursement systems along with Lean and process experience would be advantageous
