Reporting to the Director of Provider Sales, the Sales Executive will be responsible for managing renewals and new business acquisition.  The ideal candidate will manage customer relationships, focusing on renewing existing contracts and identifying opportunities to expand our client base. This role is essential in maintaining customer satisfaction, maximizing revenue through renewals, and driving growth with new clients.

To be qualified for this position you:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years sales and/or account management experience in Healthcare IT. 
  • Need to understand the Provider/Hospital revenue cycle model. 
  • Successful in managing client relationships, closing renewals and identifying opportunities within named accounts.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication. 
  • Must be comfortable preparing and presenting formal proposals. 
  • Should be involved in industry organizations such as MGMA and HFMA. 
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM tools. 

You will set yourself apart with:

  • Provider sales experience within the healthcare industry. 
  • Possess persuasive communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. 

You will be:

  • Working on a highly driven sales team selling RCM products to organizations of 100+ Provider groups to include: Large multi-physician groups, hospitals (500+ beds), health systems and billing service organizations. 
  • Proactively manage the renewal process for existing clients, ensuring a smooth and timely renewal.
  • Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities during the renewal process to increase revenue.
  • Acting as a primary point of contact, responding promptly to inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
  • Forecasting renewal rates, sales revenue, and pipeline for new business.
  • Working with the Availity Marketing team on materials to provide to current and prospective customers telling the Availity story, defining the ROI. 
  • Prospecting through warm and cold calls. 
  • Working with Availity Legal to present and negotiate Provider sales agreements. 
  • Managing multiple, concurrent sales cycles. 
  • Managing sales plans to meet quarterly and annual sales objectives. 
  • Developing lead generation strategies while maintaining working knowledge of industry trends and issues. 
  • Attending industry event and conferences and travel to prospects as needed.
