We’re looking for a detail-oriented Senior Marketing Operations Manager with strong organizational skills and a background in marketing operations excelling at establishing efficient workflows, collaborating across teams, and driving operational excellence.

How you'll make your mark:

  • Tech Stack Optimization: Evaluate and manage Yoast’s marketing technology stack, ensuring that all tools align with marketing goals. You’ll identify opportunities to streamline systems, eliminate redundancies, and integrate tools to enable cohesive campaign management and reporting.

  • Process Improvement: Prioritize key processes such as email automation, campaign tracking, and data integration for improvement. Email automation enhances personalized outreach, campaign tracking ensures strategic alignment, and data integration streamlines reporting for actionable insights. You will design and implement optimized workflows to improve speed, accuracy, and effectiveness in these areas.

  • Reporting and Metrics: Define and monitor essential metrics, such as campaign ROI, customer engagement rates, and operational efficiency. By regularly analyzing these metrics, you’ll identify trends, inform decisions, and optimize processes to support Yoast’s marketing performance goals.

  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Foster strong relationships with BI, data, and campaign teams to ensure aligned processes and reporting accuracy. You’ll work closely with these teams to ensure a seamless exchange of insights and data, enabling consistency across all demand generation and marketing functions.

  • Marketing Operations Rhythm & Meetings: Establish a monthly marketing operating rhythm to support efficient workflows, data-driven evaluations, and structure monthly team meetings to ensure alignment, assess performance, and address priorities collaboratively.

Who you are and what you’ll need to succeed:

  • Experience in Marketing Operations: 3-5 years in marketing operations, campaign management, or a related role within a tech environment, with 2-3 years in a leadership capacity.

  • Project and Process Management Skills: Proven ability to optimize processes, manage multiple projects, and ensure alignment across teams to meet strategic objectives.

  • Technical Proficiency with Marketing Tools: Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and data integration tools, with the ability to identify, optimize, and troubleshoot stack elements for maximum efficiency.

  • Strong Analytical and Reporting Capabilities: Able to analyze performance metrics and identify actionable insights to inform and optimize strategies.

  • Excellent Communication and Stakeholder Management: Skilled in engaging cross-functional stakeholders, fostering collaboration, and maintaining clear, consistent communication.

  • Detail-Oriented and Proactive Problem Solver: Focused on improving workflows and solving issues before they become obstacles, adapting to changing needs with agility.
