Job description

Ethisphere, a leading company dedicated to promoting and measuring best practices in business ethics, governance, risk, compliance and related topics, is currently looking to fill an Account Representative position which will support the Engagement Team dedicated to managing the with all members of Ethisphere’s Business Ethics Leadership Alliance (BELA) Community. BELA is membership largely consisting of leaders such as General Counsels, Chief Ethics and Chief Compliance Officers, and their extended legal compliance teams.

Ethisphere is best known for its annual award recognizing company leadership around corporate behavior, known as the World’s Most Ethical (WME) Company designation. By gathering proprietary data and benchmarks Ethisphere has become the standard bearer in scoring and measuring a company’s ethical business practices and has expanded scoring and frameworks in key areas including anti-corruption, ethical company culture, corporate governance and supply chain risk.

With an ever-growing community of enterprise members and top tier multinational company relationships, Ethisphere supports these organizations through data-driven information and tools, exclusive content and resources though its members-only online platform, member hosted peer-to-peer roundtables, larger global assemblies, and a concierge level of member support.

This role will report to the Senior Director of Account Management with clear supporting structure into the team of BELA Engagement Directors who are the primary points of contact for each specific member account.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the BELA Engagement Directors in maintaining cooperative relationships with BELA members.
  • In partnership with the Engagement Team help onboard new members and equip member contacts with proper credentials and resources essential for membership value and access.
  • Regularly track and report out on activities of BELA member organizations to better inform the members themselves and Ethisphere colleagues.
  • Ensure that member information is accurately and consistently entered into Salesforce to account for specific features of each member organization.
  • Know and be able to efficiently identify the member resources available in order to respond to membership requests and make recommendations.
  • Work closely with BELA Engagement Directors to establish clear benefits of resources for member use. Confer with Engagement Directors to help identify interest trends within members
  • Write copy and distribute communications as needed to executives from member companies on upcoming events, logistics, availability of resources, and other BELA benefits.
    • Ensure copy is posted and updated on the BELA Member Hub and other company social media outlets.
  • Partner with Engagement Directors and “Host Companies” to coordinate roundtable event activities to increase product and service awareness.
  • Coordinate across numerous channels to ensure that BELA-oriented events (such as the Global Ethics Summit) are inclusive of the community, the community has ample guidance on necessary event details, and the event is beneficial to important social issues
  • Conduct interviews with company leaders for regular insights, some of which may be formalized into publishable quality.
    • If necessary, work with Marketing team to promote interviews and content to use as company advertisement.
  • Develop a thorough working knowledge of the BELA Member Hub so you are an “internal expert” that can support the overall membership experience.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with team members that can include sales, account management, content, and marketing in order to establish cohesion and ensure BELA community initiatives are met.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and understanding of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Salesforce proficiency or familiarity with another similar CRM experience HIGHLY preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple organization initiatives and Membership-based activities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Agility when tackling competing deadlines and interests.
  • Excellent presentation, editorial, communication (both verbal and written), and writing skills.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with executive contacts outside the business as needed.
  • An intellectual curiosity about the work of Ethisphere and the workflows and areas of focus for company ethics and compliance leaders.
