About the role
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team in the rapidly growing blockchain industry. This role will be critical in coordinating cross-functional teams, prioritizing external commitments, building streamlined operational processes, and ensuring that all upstream and downstream reporting is accurate and timely. As a key liaison between business partners, external vendors, and internal development teams, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both technical and business facets of blockchain and specifically cross-chain protocols and messaging. Responsibilities

• Project Coordination & Management: Lead and manage multiple partners and commitments across Wormhole’s product suite. Clear communication and accurate estimations and management of internal resources is greatly desired.

• Cross-functional Team Collaboration: Act as the central point of contact between various stakeholders, including business partners, external vendors, and technical teams.

• Upstream & Downstream Reporting: Design and implement efficient reporting frameworks for upstream and downstream communication. Ensure that project status, milestones, risks, and other critical information are accurately reported to relevant stakeholders.

• Operational Process Development: Identify and establish process improvements across project lifecycles, focusing on standardizing workflows, and enhancing overall operational efficiency. Continuously assess and iterate on processes to streamline communication as our operations continue to expand.

• Risk Management & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify risks or blockers that may impact project success and collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement mitigation strategies. Resolve project issues effectively, maintaining clear communication on resolutions and impacts.

• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular and transparent communication with stakeholders on project progress, critical issues, and performance metrics. Conduct periodic project reviews and retrospectives to assess outcomes, gather feedback, and apply learnings to future projects.
  

Skills & Requirements

• Passion for crypto.

• Passion to build a permissionless, open, and sovereign internet.

• 3+ years of experience building and shipping in top tech companies.

• Experience designing and building operational processes to improve project management operations.

• Strong understanding of crypto and the fundamentals of how business processes work in decentralized companies.

• Bias for action, end-to-end process ownership, and customer obsession.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Advanced English.

• Availability to work US EST hours.
