Job description

This is a remote position.

Our client is a well-established leader within the equine industry and the World’s no.1 provider of equine matting solutions, fences & hurdles. They are dedicated to providing solution led systems, that ensure an extremely comfortable and safe environment for your horse. They are continuously innovating and striving towards excellence, which is why they are trusted and recommended by many of the world’s leading jockeys, show jumpers, eventers, dressage riders and racing trainers.


This opportunity would be ideally suited to an experienced and driven professional who has an excellent understanding of the equine industry and a proven track record in sales and business development.


The ideal candidate would be given the opportunity to work with their experienced team within a progressive and innovative environment, they will have the unique opportunity to influence their growth within the UK market directly, where there is significant potential for growth. The main focus being to deliver outstanding sales results, whilst enhancing their existing network and growing their dealer and customer network.


Responsibilities:

  • To support the development and execution of the sales strategy of our client across the UK.
  • To develop and support a dealer network across the UK.
  • Business development in generating and managing new sales.
  • To provide technical expertise to customers on their extensive range of products.
  • To work closely with the marketing and operations teams to build and develop the brand within the UK market.
  • To manage credit risk and the debtor book for all customers.
  • Attending various trade shows and events and travel will also be required.



Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Sales/Commercial role in the Equine Industry.
  • Proven track record of sales ensuring sales targets are met as well as developing new client and dealer relationships.
  • A strong knowledge/understanding of the Equine Industry and its various sectors.
  • Strong networking capabilities.
  • Ability to work on one’s own initiative to drive sales and results.
