About the Role

Team Global Express is currently seeking a lively, friendly, and driven individual eager to join our Operations Team at our Braeside Location. This role is responsible for all outputs in the afternoon shift including linehaul loading, shuttles to Altona and receiving shuttles to unload.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Working hours Monday- Friday from 1:30pm- 9:30pm

  • Supervision and workflow management of PM shift operations including linehaul loading, PUD unload, preloads of bulk deliveries

  • Allocating resources to adapt to changing workstreams, and managing personnel performance and productivity

  • Train and maintain Safety Standards, reporting incidents and investigating to find root cause

  • Work closely with AM Operations Supervisor to prioritise workflow, improve efficiency and other performance metrics

  • Assist with Customer Service queries

  • Assist with manifesting, reporting and compliance documentation

  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks to provide coverage for absence
     

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working in the transport industry at the supervisory level

  • Forklift licence and experience loading/ unloading freight

  • Microsoft Office experience essential, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Strong organisational skills with ability to multi-task

  • High attention to detail

  • Eager to learn and improve processes
