Job description

We’re on the lookout for Full-time Customer Care Specialists who genuinely care about having real, meaningful conversations with our customers; and who want to grow their career with us at our 300 Murray Street Perth office.

At CommBank, we believe in rewarding your development and performance.

Do work that matters

We like to say that the Direct Banking team is at the heart of the best Retail Bank in Australia, and we're there for our customers when they need it most. You'll be joining a team of passionate people who have a genuine respect and care for one another. Our Team Leaders will support your development and help you grow. That's what makes Direct Banking so special.

See yourself in our team

Our Customer Care Specialists are the friendly voice our customers hear when they contact us on a broad range of everyday banking enquiries. You’ll leave a lasting impression on your customers by providing friendly, personal and efficient service.

You’re empathetic and resilient. By walking in our customer’s shoes you’ll ask the right questions to understand what they really need and find them the best solutions. You’ll do your very best to resolve all enquiries on the first call and you’ll achieve this by communicating, listening and learning.

Our shifts and training

We offer an interactive and supportive training program that’ll ensure you make an immediate and lasting impression on our customers from day one.

Training is a compulsory component and will be a mix of in person and virtual for the first 6 weeks.
Please ensure you can attend all training sessions before applying:
Training:

6 weeks - 20th Jan – 27th Feb

11:00am – 6:40pm Monday – Friday

Following the initial 6 weeks, you’ll continue to learn on your regular roster for an additional 9 weeks, to ensure you’re set up for success.

Start date: 20th January

Shift Schedules:

Option 1: Tuesday – Saturday 3:39pm – 12:00am AWST

Option 2: Monday – Friday 11:39am – 8:00pm AWST

Option 3: Sunday – Thursday 3:39pm – 12:00am AWST

Please note you must commit to this roster for 12 months.

Your development

In addition to training, we offer an 18 month development program to upskill and develop your Customer Care capabilities. Our 4 tier development program will see you broaden your skills across multiple banking products to help enhance the customer experience, with remuneration increases for each tier you reach.

We value the hard work our team put in to create an exceptional customer experience, so we want to do the same for you!

Work from home with us

These positions have been designed so you can successfully perform your role in the comfort of your own home. All you need is a designated work area, and a connection to the internet, then leave the rest to us.

Our interactive “Hub” days will help you stay connected and engaged as a team, occurring once every fortnight in the Perth, Murray Street office.

If you're already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you'll need to apply through Sidekick to submit a valid application. We’re keen to support you with the next step in your career.

We're aware of some accessibility issues on this site, particularly for screen reader users. We want to make finding your dream job as easy as possible, so if you require additional support please contact HR Direct on 1800 989 696.
