Job description

IMPORTANT: To succeed in this role, you must have proven experience in SEO strategy and implementation, as well as experience in paid search campaigns, keyword research, ad copy creation, campaign optimisation, and WordPress.

We are looking for a passionate and results-driven SEO Specialist with experience in paid search to join our growing team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring their websites rank highly in search engine results pages (SERPs) and drive organic traffic. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to paid search campaigns, assisting with keyword research, ad copy creation, and campaign optimization.

Responsibilities:

SEO Strategy & Implementation:

Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitive analysis.

Develop and execute on-page and off-page optimization strategies.

Optimize website content, architecture, and meta data for search engines.

Build high-quality backlinks and manage disavow files.

Track, analyse, and report on SEO performance metrics.

Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates.

Paid Search Support:

Assist with keyword research and audience targeting for paid search campaigns.

Write compelling ad copy and create effective landing pages.

Monitor campaign performance and make adjustments to optimize for conversions.

Collaborate with the paid search team to ensure alignment with overall marketing goals.

WordPress Expertise:

Comfortable working within the WordPress CMS.

Implement SEO best practices within WordPress websites.

Utilize SEO plugins (e.g., Yoast SEO, Rank Math) to optimize content.

Requirements

Proven experience as an SEO Specialist (2+ years minimum).
Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
Hands-on experience with paid search platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads).
Proficiency in WordPress and related SEO plugins.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Agency experience is a plus.
