Managing and the reporting of financial
information for the business – RxMx Australia, RxMx Inc. (USA) and RxMx GmbH
(Germany), Curatio Networks inc (Canada, if needed).
Section 3 – Essential Job
Responsibilities
|
· Preparation of month-end accounts
in line with reporting deadlines, including revenue recognition of deferred
revenue;
· Monthly billing/invoicing to
customers and issuing bills directly to customers;
· Monthly accounts payable cycle,
including invoicing processing and queuing up of payments in the accounting
system.
· Month-end manual journals and
updating related files, including payroll for the AU, US and EUR regions
· Reporting to the Group
Financial Controller about the financial health of the business;
· Assisting with financial
funding and grant applications on behalf of our business;
· Providing detailed analysis on
business performance, including cash flow.
· Recommend financial actions by
analysing accounting options;
· Assisting with periodic
financial audits and ensuring there are no audit issues;
· Perform the role of Procurement
Officer for RxMx to ensure that purchased product conforms to specified
purchasing information;
· Recommending and Improving
systems and procedures and initiate corrective action;
· Arranging staff and creditor
payments;
· Reviewing preparation and
lodgement of Australian Payroll Tax and BAS; and any other governmental filings
· Ad hoc accounting duties when
required by the Group Financial Controller.

|
This job generally operates in a professional
office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as
laptop computers, smartphones and other digital devices.
Section 6 – Physical Demand
|
While performing
the duties of this role, the individual is regularly
required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job
include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This is largely a sedentary
role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift
files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
Section 7 – Long Hours and/or
Travel Required

Travel is primarily local during the business
day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
This is a remote role with the preference for candidates with some
overlap hours in the Pacific Standard time zone (PST).
Section 8 – Qualifications,
Skills and Experience
|
Qualification:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
or Commerce or relevant qualifications
Experience:
· 5 years’ experience in
accounting role, managing full cycle accounting& payroll is required;
· In depth experience with Xero,
QBO and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint ).
Skills:
· Strong analytical skills,
critical thinking, problem solving and decision making with proven ability to meet tight deadline;
· Experience of working in an
Australian Company accounting environment is required. Knowledge of the US
market and Australian indirect taxes will be highly regarded.Effective time
management and organisational skills;
· Demonstrated ability to
function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team under significant
pressure and meeting hard deadlines;
· Strong organisational, time
management skills with a result-oriented focus;
· Excellent attention to detail
and ability to manage complex projects and multi-task;
· A strong team member with an
ability to work across multiple teams;
· Highly developed interpersonal
skills; Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
including being confident in liaising with people of all levels (internal and
external);
· Be able to work independently
and within a team environment.
