Job description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling payroll, bookkeeping, and audit-related tasks for certain EPAM subsidiaries in Latin America while ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards.

Responsibilities


  • Manage payroll processes for designated EPAM subsidiaries and perform standard payroll accounting and accruals in line with US GAAP
  • Analyze and reconcile payroll discrepancies across internal systems
  • Investigate complex payroll cases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to exchange pertinent information
  • Address audit inquiries and participate in meetings with both external and internal auditors
  • Handle local audit tasks specifically related to payroll
  • Engage in regular activities aimed at process improvement alongside other teams, analyze areas for enhancement, and pilot new improvements
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed


Requirements


  • High economic education, specifically in Finance or Accounting
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Senior Payroll Accountant, Senior Payroll Specialist, or Auditor, including payroll responsibilities
  • At least an intermediate level of English proficiency
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably including SAP
  • Background in company acquisitions
  • High personal responsibility and meticulous attention to detail
  • Competency in managing and processing information from diverse sources
