About the role:
To achieve our ambitious goals, we are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our Senior Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this pivotal role will shape the future of our brands, drive innovation, and ensure our products lead the market and are future-ready.
The role is divided into two key areas:
Technology: You will oversee our Development, QA, and DevOps teams and lead the charge on our agile transformation. Ensuring that the technologies and platforms we use are modern, scalable, reliable, and high-performing is crucial. A key part of your role will be to implement systems and processes that enhance operational efficiency, speed of development and deployment, and overall product quality.
Product: Working closely with the CEO and the wider Leadership Team, you’ll help define and execute a clear product strategy that aligns with our long-term business goals. You will provide leadership to the Product Owner(s), ensuring they are effective in driving product results and delivering value. Importantly, working closely with the SLT to ensure there is clear join up on the route to live for customers that is customer-centric. Your ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on product oversight will be critical.
Responsibilities:
Develop and drive the overall product and technology strategy, ensuring it aligns with our growth ambitions. Work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to create a product roadmap that delivers long-term value for the business and its customers and ensure our products are delivered on time and meet both business and customer expectations
Ensure all product and technology operations run smoothly. Oversee the Development, QA, and DevOps teams, implementing best practices that improve efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance the quality and speed of product delivery.
Lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and accountability. Support and empower Product Owners, developers, and engineers to achieve their best, ensuring they deliver strong results, and ensure products are delivered on time and meet both business and customer expectations.
Put customer needs at the heart of product decisions. Work with teams across the business to build solutions that enhance the customer experience and deliver clear value. Champion a customer-first approach throughout product and technology development.
Stay ahead of industry trends and seek opportunities for innovation. Lead continuous improvement efforts across products, processes, and platforms to ensure the business remains agile and competitive.
Lead the company’s transition to agile working methods, enabling faster delivery of value. Drive ongoing improvements across teams.
Inspire and motivate teams, ensuring all members are engaged and focused on delivering value. Lead change effectively and secure the support of key stakeholders.
About You
Your experience:
Proven experience in leading both product and technology functions within a business, ideally in a B2B or fintech environment. You should have a strong track record of developing and executing product strategies that deliver measurable business results.
Hands-on experience in leading agile transformations starting from the beginning, implementing agile methodologies, and driving cultural change in an organisation to enable faster delivery of value and more efficient workflows.
Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and inspire high-performing teams. You should be experienced in fostering collaboration, accountability, and a customer-centric approach across teams.
Strong technical background with experience overseeing development, QA, and DevOps teams. You should have led efforts to modernise platforms, introduce scalable systems, and ensure the reliability and performance of technology solutions.
A deep understanding of how to build products with a focus on customer needs, ensuring that product development and technology deliver clear value and enhance the customer experience.
Experience in leading business transformations, including developing and executing strategies that drive both technological and cultural change, to ensure the business remains competitive and aligned with industry trends.

Confident in representing the company at industry events, you are comfortable speaking publicly about the innovative work being done at Jonas FinTech. You are an advocate for the business and play a key role in enhancing its reputation within the fintech community.

LOCATION
This is a fully remote role, with the occasional need for travel for team meetings, training, client meetings etc.
