Position Title: Integration Analyst
Location: Remote LATAM
What you will be doing:
We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Analyst to join our dynamic team at FreightPOP, a leading provider of cloud-based enterprise software. As a critical member of our product team, you will work closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement seamless integrations between our shipping and logistics software and third-party applications. The ideal candidate possesses advanced technical skills, a strong understanding of shipping and logistics, and the ability to manage complex projects effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to integrate third-party applications within our system, ensuring a seamless flow of data.
  • Translate third-party system mappings into our integration tools to support real-time data exchange.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Become a subject matter expert on our product and the logistics industry over time.
  • Take a long-term view of the product, guiding short-term efforts to align with business goals.
  • Work with Product Owners and Scrum teams to deliver high-quality products on time and successfully.
  • Break down business requirements into functional requirements as needed.
  • Work closely with our carrier partners to continue building an integrated network.

 

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Main Skills:
These are the must-haves that are essential for this position. 
  • Advanced proficiency in reading and understanding API documentation.
  • Advanced ability to translate API documentation into functional Postman Collections.
  • Advanced technical troubleshooting skills via email with external partners.
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL.
  • Experience with SaaS cloud-based solutions.
  • Basic proficiency with JavaScript.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Postman.
  • Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst for API integrations.
  • Secondary Skills:
These are additional skills that will help you succeed in this role. 
  • Proficiency in writing and maintaining custom scripts for data transformations using languages
  • such as Python or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL
  • databases.
  • Knowledge of industry standards or protocols for data exchange, such as EDI.
  • Experience in the shipping and logistics software market.
  • Soft skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
    • Proactive problem-solving abilities with a professional demeanor.
    • Efficient at managing time and handling multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
