Job Summary:                                                                                                   

A dynamic and results-driven professional for the role of Business Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, and implementing effective marketing strategies, including social media and email marketing, to drive business growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Prepare and deliver pitches and presentations to prospective clients.

Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote products and services.
  • Utilize social media platforms to increase brand awareness and engage with target audiences.
  • Plan and implement email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and convert prospects.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

Social Media Management:

  • Manage and grow the company’s social media presence across various platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Create engaging content, including posts, graphics, and videos, to attract and retain followers.
  • Monitor social media channels for customer inquiries and engage with followers to build community.

Email Marketing:

  • Design, execute, and monitor email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotions, and product launches.
  • Create Automated Sequencies
  • Segment email lists based on customer behavior and preferences to deliver personalized content.
  • Track and analyze email campaign performance metrics to optimize future campaigns.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and business development activities.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on business performance and market trends.
  • Use data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and improve marketing efforts.

Competencies/Work Experience Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and email marketing tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with graphic design and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Knowledge of SEO and PPC advertising.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Preferred Education and Experience

•     Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.

•     Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
