About the Role

FareHarbor is looking for a Group Product Manager who will be fully responsible for owning, executing, and delivering on our Distribution group - involving everything affiliate, APIs and sites optimizing for our clients growth.

You will define product strategy and roadmap, lead a team of product managers across multiple closely coupled initiatives and individually contribute to implement key projects. You will translate business needs into product roadmaps that incorporate appropriate qualitative and quantitative research and stakeholder input. You will guide and mentor your team of Product Managers.

To be successful in this role you must have strong analytical thinking, problem solving, attention to detail, and a proven record in leading complex SaaS products. Most importantly the candidate must be obsessed with creating client value. 

 

What you’ll do here:

Be the Product Leader for the Distribution Product Group of FareHarbor, owning the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation through execution and iteration, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Lead and mentor the Product Managers in your group, challenging their decision-making processes to ensure high-quality product thinking. Foster a culture of accountability, fast execution, and continuous learning.

Drive product excellence through data-driven decision-making, ensuring all initiatives are aligned with client value, market demands, and business impact. Be relentless in pursuing customer satisfaction and product-market fit.

Own and measure success metrics (KPIs), holding yourself and your team accountable for delivering measurable results. Regularly report on team performance and the impact of your product on key business outcomes.

Navigate ambiguity and prioritize ruthlessly, making informed trade-offs to focus on the highest-impact opportunities. Maintain a clear product vision, balancing short-term execution with long-term strategy.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Commercial teams, Operations, and Product Marketing teams to remove roadblocks, accelerate delivery, and maximize business outcomes. Proactively identify and address risks and dependencies.

Contribute to the company’s strategic direction by ensuring your group’s efforts align with company priorities. Continuously refine product roadmaps to meet evolving business goals and customer needs.

Foster a bias for action within the team, promoting a sense of urgency and a results-driven mindset. Ensure the team is equipped to deliver in a high-demand environment while maintaining a high bar for quality.

 
Requirements 
  • 7+ years of product management experience.
  • Have experience in B2B products
  • Have lead and mentored product managers, have set product process to enable product thinking and methodology
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results; excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams and define roadmap strategy and scope, making relevant tradeoffs to prioritize product requirements
  • Experience in the travel industry and in distribution specifically is desirable 
  • Have the ability to learn quickly and understand complex systems.
  • Be biased for action, comfortable with a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Be motivated, hard-working, and able to lead by example.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
    Experience in sizing opportunities and translating them into products, features and processes that deliver value.
