Essential Responsibilities of the Product Manager, Administrator Tools:
Be an agile team leader.
Motivate and empower your team to prioritize the highest impact work.
Develop feature and solution ideas and ensure context is effectively communicated to design and engineering teammates
Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, scrum, etc.) and track completed work.
Prioritize your backlog, translate features into user stories, and elaborate on those stories for your agile team.
Communicate across the organization.
Proactively connect with key partners and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of product vision and execution.
Track progress toward successful delivery. Raise issues, risks, and dependencies, and collaborate to resolve them.
Deeply understand your product’s features, content, user experience, and relationship to the broader product ecosystem, so you can effectively communicate about your component with a broad range of team members.
Draft release notes, announcements, and training materials to support the launch of new features and products.
Partner with design to create intuitive and powerful features.
Develop exceptional products.
Empathize with our customers’ and users’ needs as a passionate advocate for their perspectives through all phases of product development, taking into account various user roles and user journeys
Initiate and evaluate user testing interviews conducted by User Testing Group to identify problems and validate improvements.
Research the competitive product landscape and education market.
Synthesize data, observations, and other research into insights to help advise product strategy.
Plan out and execute on a roadmap aligned to company and department level initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications of the Product Manager, Administrator Tools:
BA/BS or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in product development or a related field
Proven organizational skills and great attention to detail
Demonstrated proficiency of project management skills
Mastery of Agile SCRUM software development methodology and practices
Preferred Qualifications of the Product Manager, Administrator Tools:
Background in technology, design, user research, and/or curriculum development
Experience as an educator
What we offer:
Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross annualized salary range for this role is $110,000- $120,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
