In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to our executive team and partner with various departments to foster a culture of transparency, trust, collaboration, and engagement.
As a key member of our team, you will oversee the development and execution of comprehensive internal and external communication strategies, including high-profile programs and initiatives. This role calls for a strategic thinker, creative doer, and self-starter who can align all communications with the company's overall messaging and branding. You’ll manage stakeholder relationships, collaborate across teams, curate content, create communication materials, manage communication channels, and measure the effectiveness of our strategies.
Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing communication strategies that promote our TactaValues, enhance the employee experience, elevate our brand image, and drive alignment with Tactacam's growth objectives. You’ll craft and deliver communications that inform, inspire, and engage both our employees and external audiences, taking full ownership of our employee-facing and corporate communication programs to ensure our culture is reflected in everything we do.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and execute communication strategies that elevate Tactacam's corporate presence in the news and press, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with media outlets to increase coverage and visibility.
Deliver compelling pitches to support launch efforts, including crafting media messages, executive documents for speaking engagements, media alerts, and Q&As.
Design and implement fresh and engaging internal and external communications strategies that build trust, spark excitement, and bring Tactacam's mission and values to life for both our teams and external audiences.
Own and lead key company-wide communications initiatives, including quarterly All Hands meetings, AMAs, press releases, and external events, ensuring they are memorable, engaging, and effective in our 100% virtual environment.
Partner closely with the People & Culture, Marketing, and senior leadership teams to ensure every piece of communication aligns with Tactacam’s fun, down-to-earth, and authentic voice.
Take full ownership of our corporate communications programs to create moments that showcase our brand, celebrate achievements, learn from challenges, and inspire pride in what we’re building among both employees and external stakeholders.
Collaborate across the organization to deliver communications for people programs that enhance our employee experience and external programs that enhance our brand presence.
Draft and drive both internal and external communications materials on behalf of executives. Provide guidance to company leaders on communication best practices, helping them to improve their communication skills and effectiveness.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team, guiding them on effective communication strategies, storytelling, and change management approaches to keep our teams engaged and informed.
Develop and promote our talent brand through creative content, awards, events, and campaigns that showcase Tactacam as a great place to work.
Attend weekly senior leadership team meetings and monthly on-site work sessions to ensure alignment across departments; maintain confidentiality, document key agreements and action items, take detailed notes on meeting content, and keep the team connected on key initiatives and work streams.
Manage the development, production, and implementation of both internal and external communications, identifying the most effective communication channels and methods for key messaging.
Direct the development of communication vehicles, including employee intranet feature stories, newsletters, leadership briefs, videos, slide presentations, press releases, social media content, and other external communications materials.
Coordinate and oversee all phases of communications production, from planning and writing to producing with internal and external vendors.
Oversee and actively engage in company Slack channels and social media platforms like LinkedIn to ensure consistent, clear, and effective communication. Share timely updates, key messages, and engaging content with both internal and external audiences, fostering a positive and inclusive virtual environment.
Coach company representatives to maximize the effectiveness of their external presentations and speaking engagements.
Secure strategic recognition and awards to enhance the company's external image and reputation.
Use metrics, feedback, and creativity to evaluate the impact of our communications, continuously improving and keeping them fresh and exciting.
