So what is the role?

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will architect and maintain our data infrastructure on Azure, using Databricks and Delta Lake. Youâll be responsible for designing robust ETL pipelines, ensuring data reliability and security, and optimizing performance for real-time analytics:

Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Delta Lake.
Streaming data from external sources (e.g., Kafka) into Azure Data Lake for analysis and reporting.
Managing data transformations across the Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).
Ensuring data quality and governance in accordance with enterprise standards.
Collaborating with Data Scientists and Business to deliver actionable insights.

This is the next level you achieve after 6 months:

You have built andÂ optimized ETL pipelines forÂ real-time data ingestion andÂ processing in Databricks.
You haveÂ implemented Delta Lake acrossÂ Bronze, Silver, and Gold zones for our platform.
You achieved seamlessÂ integration between our IoT data sources and theÂ Azure environment.

What you need for this role:

Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree inÂ Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
You haveÂ at least 5 years of hands-on experience withÂ data engineering, includingÂ Delta Lake, Databricks, and Azure.
Proficient in Python and Spark for building andÂ optimizing ETL processes.
Experience withÂ Kafka or similarÂ streaming platforms andÂ real-time data integration.
Strong communication skills in English, with aÂ structured, independent, and solution-oriented work style.
