Job description

The Senior  Accountant will be responsible for leading a team of accounting specialists and assisting with the preparation of monthly financial analysis reports, daily revenue reporting, employment tax reporting and other tasks to support operations. Position can be remote twice a week.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals and logs
  • Follow our company’s established accounting processes
  • Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice entry and payments
  • Support accounts receivable activities, including occasional client interaction
  • Perform monthly bank statement reconciliations
  • Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
  • Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions
  • Prepare documentation for external auditors
  • Employment tax reporting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
  • 3+ years’ experience in accounting
  • Proficient in Word and Excel, including basic formulas and pivot tables
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports
  • Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Software knowledge:

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint), Dynamics GP (Great Plains), Microsoft CRM, MS Management Reporter, Epic Software, Integration Manager, SmartConnect
