The Opportunity:
Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing exceptional support to customers. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will:
provide expert technical support to customers by addressing questions related to RocheTissue Diagnostics analyzer functionality and usage via the Technical Support Center.
Document and maintain electronic records related to product complaints in accordance to federal regulations for medical device reporting
analyze and troubleshoot nonfunctioning electro/mechanical equipment, software applications, or reagents to identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
serve as the primary support liaison between Roche and customers, recommending solutions to application challenges and maintaining a database for recurring problem analysis and reporting.
apply fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures related to routine staining, special stains and Immunohistochemistry , backed by extensive on-the-job training or formal education.
showcase originality and ingenuity while contributing independently or as part of a team towards achieving program or department goals.
collaborate and interface with internal customers and various departments to ensure seamless operations.
drive continuous improvement in the quality system and achieve quality objectives through daily actions.
Location: remote, with potential initial training in Indianapolis, IN.
Schedule: This position operates within a 24/7 support center, requiring flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts. The schedule will be determined on a quarterly basis.
Who you are:
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science, Histology, Biotechnology or related field.
Experienced Histotechnologist or similar laboratory experience
Knowledge of Roche Tissue/Histology Stainers
Availability and willingness to work evening shift and/or weekend hours

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $46,500.00-$86,300.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
