Job Summary

Candidate: Must be able to develop comprehensive training material for operators and process engineers within the following areas of expertise:

To include process drawings, flow and process control descriptions, equipment training, animations
To include basic and advanced board operator training modules for operating DCS and troubleshooting process deviations.
Be able to use and be proficient in the following software systems:

MS Visio, InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Storyline 360 (CBT), MS Word, MS Excel, MS PPT, MS Outlook, etc.

Design and development site specific training materials for operators, board operators, maintenance personnel within petro-chemical, refinery, pipeline industries.
Be able to have a strong background, experience with troubleshooting as it relates to training board operators.
Be able to develop training packages for Operator Training Simulators in conjunction with UOP and Honeywell.
Ability to conduct classroom training for advanced distillation and basic process technology.
Independent, and be able to engineer solutions as needed to support various client work scopes as needed.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Instructional Design; Preferably within the Oil and Gas industry
Experience with various authoring tools (Articulate storyline 360, Adobe suite, etc.)
MUST have experience in Oil and Gas industry
MUST be open to travel as role will require 20-25% travel to Toledo, Ohio area.
Can be located anywhere in US as role is mainly remote but does require that 20-25% travel to be onsite
