Job Overview

We are excited to invite a talented Financial Project Manager to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. This 8-10 month opportunity involves supporting a prestigious client in the entertainment industry with a significant Oracle implementation project. Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the financial components of a large-scale Oracle implementation project.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) and key stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.
  • Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate extensive datasets for system functionality accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide strategic leadership in the development and establishment of a new chart of accounts, leveraging your extensive accounting expertise (CPA preferred).
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial policies and procedures throughout the project’s lifecycle.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved on schedule and within scope.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on financial matters throughout the project.

Required Skills

  • Extensive experience as a Financial Project Manager, with a minimum of 7 years in the field.
  • Proficiency in Oracle system implementation, with hands-on experience managing large-scale projects.
  • Strong background in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and data validation.
  • Proven experience in the entertainment sector is highly desirable.
  • Solid foundation in accounting and financial project management.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP) will be an advantage.
  • An analytical mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
