Job Overview

We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a Director of Project and Account Management to join our esteemed and expanding team in a remote capacity. This role offers flexibility while requiring occasional travel, allowing you to maintain a harmonious work-life balance.

In this pivotal position, you will be instrumental in both project execution and client relationship management, which are essential for enhancing customer loyalty within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) framework. As you manage project and account operations for our most significant clients, you will also lead a team of Technical Account Managers (TAMs) to ensure a consistent approach that delivers outstanding results across our client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct project teams made up of diverse service delivery members to guarantee that intricate projects are executed on schedule, within defined parameters, and that client satisfaction remains paramount.
  • Supervise the TAMs to ensure adherence to a uniform and effective project management methodology.
  • Cultivate enduring client partnerships by discerning and anticipating their needs, achieving favorable results, and consistently surpassing their expectations.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in project management and relationship management, particularly within an MSP context.
  • Proven leadership abilities to effectively guide Technical Account Managers (TAMs).
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders across various levels.
  • Capability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously with precision and an attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in utilizing project management software or PSA modules.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Familiarity with IT services and cloud-based technologies.

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly regarded.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, project management, or a similar dual-role position within an MSP environment.
  • Proven expertise in account and relationship management, including experience leading Technical Account Managers (TAMs).
  • Successful track record overseeing IT projects, managing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • In-depth understanding of IT services, managed services, and cloud-based technology solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for preparing reports, presentations, and project documentation.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle suitable for travel up to 75 miles, along with current automobile insurance that meets or exceeds state minimum requirements.
