About the job
The Consumer Paid Marketing Manager plays a critical role in growing Lyra’s overall business by driving awareness, consideration, acquisition (ie account registration), and usage of Lyra’s products and services among our members (consumers) - eligible employees and their family members of the employer-sponsored Lyra benefit. You will have strong expertise in paid channels, inclusive of direct mail and paid social, and can lead campaigns from concept to execution. You will develop strategies leveraging paid channels to achieve our consumer acquisition and utilization goals, manage campaign and asset development workstreams, launch campaigns, and optimize performance. 

Core competencies that will help ensure your success in this role include strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills, and a knack for forming trust-based relationships. You will have a flexible mindset and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You can take guidance and run with multiple projects simultaneously, informing when there are hurdles that require collaboration to overcome.

This role is an individual contributor role reporting to our Member Acquisition Marketing Lead.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and execute direct mail and paid social marketing strategies to achieve our member acquisition and utilization goals
  • Project manage cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure successful execution of campaigns 
  • Drive ongoing experimentation across channels to consistently optimize performance
  • Partner with our analytics and data science teams to build an attribution model and closely monitor performance and progress towards goals, identifying optimization opportunities along the way
  • Partner with our marketing content and design teams to develop standout campaign assets
  • Manage the paid marketing budget, and work with our finance team to forecast projected spend and report out on ROI
  • Help identify new paid channels, tools, and platforms that can continue to scale performance

  • Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of B2C paid marketing experience, with at least two years of experience leading direct mail campaigns
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills, with the ability to form effective partnerships with cross-functional teams – marketing content and design, analytics, data science, customer success, product, legal - and external vendors to successfully execute on your strategy  
  • Advanced analytical and strategic skills, with extensive experience evaluating metrics, identifying trends, and determining next steps to optimize performance
  • Deep experience designing and executing ongoing experimentation roadmaps
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate your marketing strategy and performance to a broad set of stakeholders
  • Self-starter who can deliver on initiatives with little guidance. As Lyra is a high growth startup, you must be flexible at times and roll with the punches
  • Experience in the health tech or general tech industry a plus
