POSITION TITLE: Lifecycle Marketing Manager (Contractor)

DEPARTMENT: Marketing

LOCATION: U.S. Remote

Owlet is seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager (Contract) to help grow and optimize our lifecycle strategies and tactics. This requires seamlessly transitioning between tactical execution and strategy, while also being detail oriented. You also possess the ability to be analytical and can help guide decisions based on data. Responsibilities include supporting and pitching new lifecycle strategies, managing a monthly lifecycle calendar, executing email marketing, SMS marketing, reporting/analysis, and more in multiple regions. Some familiarity with coding emails is helpful but not required. The person in this role will report to the Director, Lifecycle Marketing within the Growth marketing team.

This role will start as a 6-month contract, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time hours upon completion.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Campaign Calendar Management: Maintain and coordinate a marketing calendar to execute both planned and ad-hoc cross-channel campaigns.
  • Project Coordination: Manage deliverables and assets in project management tools, ensuring timeliness and quality standards are met.
  • Email Campaign Management: Execute general setup, QA, and deployment of email campaigns across regions, ensuring seamless customer experience.
  • Marketing Automation: Leverage Marketing Automation Platforms to launch multi-channel campaigns, including email, SMS, and future channels.
  • Collaborate on Messaging: Work with key stakeholders to define effective marketing messaging and campaign hierarchies that align with customer journeys and drive engagement.
  • Optimization Through Testing: Design and implement testing strategies to continuously improve customer engagement. This includes A/B testing for personalization, segmentation, messaging, creative elements, and timing optimization.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze campaign performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve future lifecycle efforts.
  • Industry Research: Monitor lifecycle marketing trends and implement best practices, positioning Owlet as a leader.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to translate data into strategic marketing decisions.
  • Attention to Detail: You’re organized and ensure quality through each stage of the campaign.
  • 3+ years of experience in executing cross-channel lifecycle marketing campaigns (email, SMS, in-app, etc.).
  • 2+ years of experience in audience segmentation and workflow setup in automation platforms.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in setting up and deploying emails. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and mobile optimization is a plus.
  • Bonus: Experience with ESPs like LeanPlum, Klaviyo, Braze, or similar platforms.
