Description

The Data Strategy and Analytics senior leader is a critical role for DDI’s journey in advancing our data-driven culture.  The role will have multiple areas of responsibilities including but not limited to Analytics, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Data Architecture, and a holistic Data Strategy & Governance Program for DDI. This individual will work with other senior leaders to develop the Data Strategy and ensure data infrastructure properly supports DDI growth strategy.   


Responsibilities 

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team (of both direct reports and matrixed roles) to sustaining and evolving its charter 
  • Build partnerships across the enterprise globally and domestically, including product management, Data Science, marketing, sales, operations, finance, legal, content development and customer experience. 
  • Identify KPI's and Business Performance Metrics business-wide to improve the data that is readily available to enhance decision making. 
  • Defines needs and develops data analytics and capabilities that enable data driven insights on the market access landscape. 
  • Establishing data management goals, data strategies, communications, governance models, and plans necessary to execute data initiatives aligned to business strategies, to maximize the value of data to the enterprise. 
  • Developing, defining and executing data, analytics strategies. 
  • Lead the development of talent and partnerships in the areas of data including programs to cultivate the organization. 
  • Partner with DDI’s external vendors to execute on the strategy. 
  • Move the company towards a self-service model for data, including build training; devise best practices; and collaborate with internal partners to ensure validity of the information. 
  • Work with Internal Partners/Data Scientists to help/support implementation of new ML models. 
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years in a data focused leadership position 
  • 5 - 10 years of applied research experience involving diverse data sources and commercially focused presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Experience translating business strategy into value creation through data strategy. Strategic data product experience strongly preferred. 
  • Experience devising data strategies for a business focused environment and communicating those strategies and the benefits therein to key stakeholders. 
  • Experience in Information Technology systems and ability to understand how data interacts with the enterprise digital foundation 
  • Ability to define and adopt agile management practices into data initiatives. 
  • Experience building Data Governance programs and Data Stewardship committees, to suite. 
  • Ability to demonstrate a basic understanding of the technology involved and industry trends 
  • Experience building training programs at all levels to cultivate the organization. 
  • Experience in information management project and program implementation through the full data life cycle. 
  • Familiarity with big data solutions including data lakes. 
  • Familiarity with data integration and quality control. 
  • Experience with creating best practices and methodologies for data management. 
  • Experience with data modeling, segmentation, and visualization techniques. 
  • Have a deep understanding of Databricks and cloud technologies.  

 

Salary: The anticipated hiring range for this position is listed below. 

Variable Pay: 15%
