In this field-based hematology position, you will have responsibility for promoting the hemophilia portfolio for Sanofi Rare Blood Disorders. This would include strategic business planning and successfully executing launch strategies to meet / exceed targets within your geographic territory.

Main Responsibilities:
Ensure effective execution of Sanofi strategies and tactics within assigned geographic area by developing effective business plans to execute strategies that are consistent with corporate brand and marketing plans and are tailored to geography and customer context. These plans will help identify local community education needs.
Ensure close cross-functional collaboration with Case Managers, Marketing, Medical, Sales and Market Access as appropriate to ensure consistent integrated implementation of strategies andtactics with a high sense of urgency
Demonstrate deep marketplace, therapeutic, product and disease expertise based on thorough understanding of rigorous scientific principles and data, including mechanism of action, indications, efficacy, safety, etc. Provide key market insights and field feedback to home office.
Understand and apply knowledge of health care industry, trends, applicable laws and regulations, market conditions, and the market access environment (including but not limited to pharmacy-economics, payer/ reimbursement landscape and patient flow/influence between institutions and community practices) and analyze these factors in the development of business plans and in daily execution of calls within compliance guidelines.
Identify key decision makers for the use of Sanofi products and conduct customer meetings within assigned territory.
Utilize CRM to manage territory and record activities.
Demonstrate advanced ability to ask strategic, insightful questions to obtain information on customer needs from all stakeholders, using the insights to position current promoted Hematology brands and collaborate with customers on a customized strategy.
Engage with local hemophilia chapters to identify patient and family needs regarding educationand accessing therapy.
Conduct formal and informal presentations and convey complex hematology clinical information fluently to the hemophilia community, in a professional, compliant, ethical and effective manner.
Provide product, wellness and lifestyle education to the community by conducting programs andengaging with families directly.
Support new families initiating treatment and seek to reduce administrative barriers to adherenceto ensure a positive patient experience for all Sanofi patients.
Build relationships within the community and represent Sanofi at local patient events.
Provide field insights into the creation of new strategies and tactics. Represent the patient’s voice tothe home office. Identify new ways to support patients.
Ensure compliance with Sanofi policies.
Review and analyze market/customer data to support and execute strategic planning.
Be responsive to the needs of providers and patients, understanding the importance of urgent and timely resolution.
Foster team effectiveness and accomplishment of shared goals by sharing knowledge, experience, and information between and amongst partners.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
Proven experience with presentation and facilitation skills
Proven ability to partner cross-functionally
Experience with engaging patients and caregivers with rare/chronic conditions
Willingness and ability to work within and outside of traditional business hours. Many Patient engagement events take place on evenings and weekends
The ability to travel 50-80%
Valid driver's license
Language requirements: Bilingual - English and Spanish required
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA/Science background
Minimum 2 years of demonstrated industry success
3-5 years’ experience in hemophilia
Rare / orphan disease experience
Experience working with specialty pharmacies
Launch experience with complex specialty products

The salary range for this position is $100,500.00 - $134,000.00 USD Annually. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
