What We're Looking For

Someone who will drive Just Right Reader's digital presence by creating and optimizing website content, including blog articles, web copy, and other digital assets. The ideal candidate will play a key role in our SEO strategy and contribute to a major website transformation initiative, ensuring our site aligns with best practices for user engagement and organic traffic growth. What You'll Do At Just Right Reader

SEO Content Creation and Optimization:

  • Produce high-quality, SEO-optimized content for our website, including blog articles, educational resources, and other web copy.
  • Develop content that drives organic traffic growth and resonates with our target audience, emphasizing thought leadership and industry expertise.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights and data for content creation that supports our marketing and educational goals.

Website Transformation Initiative

  • Develop and create web copy as part of a comprehensive website redesign, ensuring consistency in messaging and alignment with SEO strategies.
  • Work closely with the web development team to optimize content for improved user experience and search engine visibility.

Top Funnel SEO Marketing Content

  • Create top-of-funnel content, such as blog posts, articles, and lead magnets, to engage potential customers and drive them through the marketing funnel.
  • Ensure all content aligns with SEO best practices and supports lead generation efforts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with teams across sales, product development, and customer success to align content strategies with business objectives.
  • Ensure content supports the overall marketing strategy, including customer acquisition and engagement goals.

Project Management Skills

  • Utilize project management tools (e.g., Asana) to manage workflow and ensure timely delivery of content assets, including web copy for the website transformation.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, ensuring content is delivered on time and meets quality standards.

Data Analysis And Reporting

  • Utilize analytics tools to measure and report on the performance of website content and SEO efforts.
  • Use data-driven insights to continually optimize content strategies for better engagement and conversions.

Qualifications

  • A background in K-12 education is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a similar role with a strong portfolio of successful content marketing and SEO-driven web copy.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
