Job Summary:

The Sales Hiring Specialist leads the selection program for all Sales Development Representative (SDR) candidates. This includes partnering with Sales Management to ensure that top talent is being sourced, conducting all screens and offering. The Sales Hiring Specialist will also collaborate on retention and process improvements for the roles that they hire for.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts initial phone screens and final interviews for all Sales open positions and collaborates to make hire/no hire decisions
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition and Inside Sales to ensure top talent is being sourced and is aligned with the current hiring profile for the SDR role. Recommends sourcing strategies and changes to the current profile based on turnover and achievement of performance metrics
  • Measures the current sourcing, selection, and interview process and regularly reports on those measurements along with recommendations on ways to drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Stays current on latest interviewing research and techniques

  • Reports To: Human Resources Business Partner
  • Direct Reports: None
  • Interacts with: Candidates, Sales Coaches, Managers, Employees

Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience conducting behavioral interviews, preferrable for sales roles
  • Experience in interviewing techniques and ways to overcome interviewing biases ensuring diverse top talent.
  • Ability to use different questioning techniques to solicit complete responses from candidates.
  • Ability to partner cross functionally and builds solid relationships to drive changes resulting in improvement outcomes.
  • Ability to analyze data, see trends, and translate those trends into action items.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, ability to act without having the whole picture using sound judgment and strong decision-making skills.
  • Passionate about business results and quality, with a strong sense of accountability, metrics and ownership.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to grasp the tactical details.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, is dynamic, and can capture a group’s interest and maintain it as well as the ability to facilitate meetings with diverse and sometimes conflicting points of view.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, multi-task and effectively prioritize conflicting assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels and across all functions of the organization.
  • Proven ability to organize/manage multiple priorities coupled with the flexibility to quickly adapt to ever changing business needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving. Solid decision making in a timely manner.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required or equivalent experience

The pay range for this role is:
