Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Sales District Manager to become an integral part of our expanding sales team. This entry-level role presents an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively across various functions including business development, marketing, sales, and customer support. In this position, you will develop new and strengthen existing customer relationships within your assigned district, striving to meet specific sales objectives related to our intrusion and access control products. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to engage in cross-selling initiatives across our Building Technologies portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with colleagues in Training, Inside Sales, and Presales to provide exceptional sales support to clients, including product training, tailored quotations, and project recommendations.
  • Build and enhance relationships with National and Regional Distributors to drive sales growth in our intrusion sensor product line.
  • Increase sales volumes with assigned dealers while identifying new partnership opportunities to broaden market reach.
  • Work with the Sales District Manager and Regional Sales Director to strategize on district development initiatives.
  • Engage with Business Development, Product Support, and Marketing teams to explore and establish new sales channels for our offerings.
  • Assist in business development activities targeting A&E, end-users, distributors, and dealers.
  • Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries, typically within 24 hours.
  • Promote our solutions by educating customers on the benefits through events such as road shows, trade exhibitions, and training sessions.
  • Effectively utilize our CRM tool to monitor sales opportunities, pipelines, and customer data.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in sales, especially with micro-electronic products or computer technologies.
  • Technically proficient, with the capacity to quickly grasp complex products and systems.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including verbal, listening, presentation, and written competencies.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities to cultivate and maintain positive relationships with customers, management, and team members.
  • A proactive and positive mindset towards customer support and problem resolution, thriving in a dynamic environment.
  • Industry affiliations and/or certifications are advantageous.
  • Availability to travel 50-70% of the time.
  • Candidates must reside in the Central US region (TN, AL, MS, LA, MO, KS, NE, OH, AR, IL, IN, KY, WV, MN, ND, SD, WI).
