We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Director of Insurance Finance (Property & Casualty) to join our esteemed team. In this influential role, you will report directly to the SVP of Finance and Treasury, overseeing financial planning and analysis functions within our insurance division. Your profound expertise will be crucial in steering budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ultimately ensuring the fiscal health of the division while facilitating strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the annual budget, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans for the insurance division.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to align financial strategies with overarching business objectives and growth initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough financial analyses and deliver insights on performance metrics, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate the financial implications of business decisions, including market expansions and strategic investments.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including variance analysis and board reports.
  • Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts and planners, promoting professional growth and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements while managing financial risks.

Required Skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of US STAT, GAAP, and SEC reporting standards.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, particularly in personnel development and project management.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, with a collaborative approach to achieving business results.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in diverse aspects of P&C insurance finance, accounting, and treasury operations.
  • A Bachelor’s degree specializing in Finance or Accounting; CPA designation preferred.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Pay Range: \(157,500 - \)220,500 annually, commensurate with experience and skills.
