Hi There, This is Dara from CI&T! I am a Talent Analyst looking for people in Colombia for a Mid Level QA Engineer Position to work on an internacional project.
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with a strong background in manual testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring the highest quality in software products. While experience in automation testing is not mandatory, familiarity with automation tools is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential quality issues.
- Conduct regression testing and validate fixes in new releases.
- Participate in requirements review and design discussions to provide quality input.
- Maintain and enhance existing test documentation and processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manual testing.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
