The Role: Operations Executive

The Onboarding team provide crucial support to new financial advisers joining M&G Wealth Advice. This multi-disciplined, cross-skilled role will work across the core onboarding functions assisting with the process owners to smoothly onboard advisers and their clients into the company.

The key responsibilities of an Operations Executive include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the Transition Manager with processing of new adviser applications.

  • Collating and scanning all received application paperwork.

  • Second checking received applications.

  • Assisting with the creation of new agencies with financial product providers.

  • Coordinating with product providers and Sandringham Directors to complete new terms of business.

  • Collating and tracking new agency requests.

  • Creation of necessary system logins to allow new adviser to carry out new business.

  • Assisting with the transfer of client data and client fees to Sandringham.

  • Creation of client transfer paperwork using mail merge functionality.

  • Collating, scanning and processing returned client paperwork.

  • Sending client paperwork to product providers and tracking and following up unprocessed items.

  • Keeping all communication saved and tracked.

  • Regularly updating new advisers on progress.

  • Other ad hoc duties that arise on a week-by-week basis.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • A quick learner with a proven record of taking onboard new processes and detailed information

  • Experience in administration and a busy office environment.

  • A diligent approach to work and an eye for detail.

  • Experience in Financial Services (preferable but not essential).

  • Able to work in a team and alone to meet goals.

  • Confident in using your own initiative as well as work from the instruction of others.

  • The ability to be flexible in responding to the needs of the business.

  • Proficient in IT.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel.

  • Confident on the phone and face to face.

  • Strong communicator across various media and levels of seniority within the business.

  • Proactive, honest and self-disciplined.
