About the role

  • Provide timely, accurate and thorough information in response to customer queries and escalations through inbound and outbound customer contact.

  • Be willing to dedicate your time to diagnosing freight issues in real time by inspecting and investigating freight throughout the Depot and speaking with numerous staff members on the floor

  • Dedicate appropriate amounts of time daily towards office administration as well as inspecting and investigating customer queries on the floor and throughout the Depot

  • Have a pro-active and strategic mindset to Customer Service by utilising multiple avenues towards problem solving which include liaising with staff, using technology and systems to ascertain appropriate solutions

  • Be proactive in repacking any freight according to customer requirements 

  • Following up on processing Repacks, Damaged and Unidentified Freight

  • Coordinating with customers face to face who come in to collect any deliveries

What you’ll bring

  • You must have a customer mindset to drive optimum customer service solutions

  • This role will involve some manual handling. You must be able to complete a Pre Employment Medical in line with role requirements and Work Health & Safety

  • You must also have strong organisational skills and excellent time management skills

  • You must work well in a team environment

  • A high attention to detail

  • Mid-level data entry skills

  • A strong attention to safety

  • Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not mandatory)
