Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitors purchase intake on a weekly basis and spearheads inventory status meetings and drives actions on inventory reduction activities.
  • Prepares analysis of Inventory accounts i.e. Finished Goods, Work in Process, Make Parts and Purchased Parts.
  • Prepares and presents weekly various inventory reports, monitors action items provide updates to the controller and operations heads.
  • Deeply involve in Inventory Assurance weekly report requirement.
  • Performs month end accounting close.
  • Analyzes purchase price variances and updates pricing based on strategic buyers input during cost roll.
  • Coordinates with Stores, Engineering Services regarding Inventory integrity issues as well as troubleshoots them to bring open items to a close.
  • Handles Excess and Obsolescence calculations based on current RTX policies on E&O.
  • Validates obsolete items for disposal while coordinating with Supply Chain and Engineering services for those parts with parts revisions causing obsolescence.
  • Reports directly to the Controller and assists in the creation of forecast models related to inventory movements and turns.
  • Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.
    Handles other Finance tasks assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in Manufacturing set up, metric driven company.
  • With background in Managerial accounting.
  • Preferably CPA.
