ECS is seeking an FP&A Analyst to work Remote/Hybrid .
Job Description:
ECS, a segment of ASGN, is seeking a FP&A Analyst to join its Corp FP&A Team.The FP&A analyst will report to the Manager, Corp FP&A and will work closely with other finance functions. For the right candidate, this role offers significant opportunity for learning and growth and lays a strong foundation for a long-term career in project control/FP&A. This role will be focused on all aspects of financial planning and analysis, reporting and system liaison. The analyst is expected to be tech savvy with emphasis on heavy use of excel and PowerPoint tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Corp FP&A in responding to internal and external reporting needs by creating an array of custom-built files and reports
Work with the corporate financial systems team to ensure the firm’s reporting tools support the needs of the Corp FP&A team
Produce scheduled financial reports to include, monthly forecast, and variance analysis
Identify bookings, backlog, revenue, cost and profit trends and patterns by developing insightful analytics for better decision making
Administer company’s financial planning tool, Oracle by maintaining user accounts and validating credentials
Participate in process improvement initiatives to make effective changes in the area of financial systems, project financial control and reporting and financial dashboarding
Assist in the development of the annual operating plan and quarterly and monthly forecasts
Ad hoc financial reporting
Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000
General Description Of Benefits
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree is required, preferable in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
1+ years' experience inFinance/Accounting, preferably in a government contracting environment.
Experienced is not required (preferred) but must be willing to learn financial systems and tools including Costpoint, IBM Cognos Analytics and Oracle Hyperion SmartView/EPBCS.
General knowledge of government contract types to include Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials and Cost Reimbursable preferred.
Must be organized, detail oriented, motivated and able to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
Experience with Microsoft Office suite, proficiency in Excel is a must.
Ability to interact and communicate, both oral and written, with individuals across the organization.
Self-motivated and results-oriented dedicated individual with a strong work ethic.
Ability to think critically to solve problems.
