Job Title: Divisional HR Manager - Remote

Job Overview

Join our dynamic organization as a Divisional HR Manager, where your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping our human resources strategy. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with on-site HR teams and management to ensure efficient daily HR functions, including benefits administration, payroll processing, and risk management.
  • Serve as the key liaison between divisional and territorial human resources, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable policies, procedures, and legal requirements (e.g., US Department of Labor, OSHA, ADA).
  • Provide prompt and professional responses to HR-related inquiries from staff and management.
  • Keep leadership informed of HR initiatives, activities, and any areas of concern.
  • Supervise HR personnel to guarantee professional and timely task execution.
  • Develop and refine HR systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct training sessions for officers and line managers on various HR topics via webinars and conference calls.
  • Assist in conflict resolution and oversee the performance evaluation process.
  • Manage payroll functions and verify the accuracy of employee data within the payroll system.
  • Oversee the worker's compensation program, including the Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
  • Collaborate with the finance department to provide personnel cost information for budgeting purposes.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Publisher).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of multi-state labor laws, workers' compensation, employee benefits, and health plans.
  • Demonstrated experience managing HR in a multi-site or remote setting.
  • Familiarity with UKG payroll systems is advantageous.
  • Valid Alaska Driver's License.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Preferred certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
