Job Opportunity: Cost Accountant (Remote with Travel) Interim – 6 month Fixed term contract – potential opportunity to be made permanent Location: Remote with travel to the office 2-3 times per month, located one hour north of Milton Keynes. We’re seeking a proactive Cost Accountant to join our clients finance team on an interim basis. You we be part of a team that provides cost support for the wider business, where you’ll gain exposure of a large global recognised brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and report on cost structures and financial performance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate cost reporting.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimise cost efficiency.
  • Month end support
  • Provide insight into Fixed asset to stakeholders
  • Project support for the wider business

Requirements

  • Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience with SAP is highly desirable.
