Job description

Position Purpose: Leads and oversees a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts responsible for managing and developing key healthcare quality technology products. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction and day-to-day management of multiple healthcare technology applications, ensuring alignment with business goals, HEDIS requirements, and user needs. The Senior Manager will foster a people-focused team culture while delivering innovative solutions that improve healthcare quality outcomes.

  • Manages project and program managers in all phases of the project life cycle
  • Manages and mentors a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts, guiding product strategy and development for healthcare quality applications
  • Ensures products meet HEDIS requirements and other healthcare quality standards while driving innovation in the field
  • Performs resource planning
  • Determines, monitors, reviews, and reports on all program attributes including program costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, quality, and risks
  • Shares knowledge and develops team capabilities to strengthen understanding of IT and industry, business and best practices
  • Manages the hiring and training of new and existing staff, conducts performance reviews, provides leadership, technical guidance and coaching
  • Develops and communicates organizational objectives; inspires and motivates team members to achieve results
  • Provides strategy and change management thought leadership support opportunities
  • Provides direction to the project teams in areas of customer concerns, potential changes in scope, and risk assessment
  • Identifies key leading and lagging risk factors
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related experience, including prior management experience.

Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

Technical Skills:

One or more of the following skills are desired.

  • Experience with HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Sets)
  • Experience Managing healthcare quality technology products
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis; Stakeholder Management; Vendor Relationship Management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Agile Management; Project Management
  • Experience with Other: developing, monitoring and managing project budgets and schedules.
  • Knowledge of Agile Management; Scrum (Software Development); Software Development Life Cycle

Pay Range: $140,300.00 - $259,100.00 per year
