Job description

Shape the utilities market of the future with us!
Join our team in Leipzig, Erfurt, or Ilmenau or work remotely part-time as a Working Student Product Management (m/f/d).

The Product Management Department at Cuculus is looking for a motivated working student to help us bring our product demos to life.
What is the role about?
  • You will create small tools, scripts, and data generators adapted to real-world use cases identified working closely with the technical sales and product management team. 
  • Together with the System Engineering group, you will also create plans for how to deploy the developed scenarios into the demo platform and manage the deployments. 
  • These scenarios will be used to tell convincing stories about how our ZONOS IoT Platform enables Grid Operators around the world to manage their infrastructure. 
  • Ideally, you are studying computer science or a related program and are interested in communication technology, data processing, and critical infrastructure.
You fit in with us, if…
  • You are currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
  • You are interested in communication technology, data processing, and critical infrastructure.
  • You are comfortable working on Linux systems, as well as Python, Java, or C#.
  • You are proficient in querying databases using SQL and ideally in Oracle and Postgres.
  • You have played with SOAP/REST APIs, tools like Postman or SOAPUI, and version control systems like SVN, perforce, or Git.
  • You ideally have experience in Kubernetes, container frameworks like docker, and Kafka.
  • You are fluent in English - speaking German or any other language is always a plus.
