Job Overview

Join our esteemed organization, a celebrated Microsoft Partner of the Year, as a Senior HR Administrator specializing in Payroll, HRIS, and Benefits. This temporary, part-time role is tailored for experienced professionals looking to contribute to a high-impact People & Culture department while working remotely. Set to commence in November or December 2024 and extend through August 2025, this position offers flexible hours and a chance to be part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process multi-state payroll through Paylocity, ensuring accuracy in bi-weekly payrolls, commissions/bonuses, and manual checks.
  • Review and correct employee timesheets, while managing HR Information Systems to maintain up-to-date employee records.
  • Oversee employee benefits administration during Open Enrollment and qualifying life events, utilizing the Ease online enrollment tool.
  • Assist with recruiting efforts, tracking headcount, and coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires.
  • Ensure compliance with training programs, employment laws, and company policies, while managing documentation for EEO and California Pay Data reporting.
  • Support employee relations initiatives and address any arising issues, including conflict resolution and leave management.

Required Skills

  • Over 5 years of HR experience at a Generalist level or higher, with a minimum of 3 years in benefits and payroll administration.
  • Strong expertise in payroll and HRIS systems, particularly Paylocity, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office365.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of addressing complex employee relations challenges effectively.
  • Proven ability to manage time and resources efficiently, demonstrating adaptability to changing requirements.

Qualifications

  • Preferred certifications include SHRM/HRCI or payroll professional certification.
  • Experience in a compliance-oriented environment with over 100 employees is advantageous.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Base wage range: \(38.00 to \)45.00 per hour.
  • Sick Time accrued at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
  • 401k plan with company match available after 90 days of employment.
  • Reimbursement of $80 per month for cell phone and internet expenses.
