Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person American Heart Association Basic Life Saving (BLS) and Heartsaver training sessions.
• Ensure a positive and effective learning experience for every participant.
• Follow established AHA lesson plans and instructional materials meticulously.
• Clearly explain critical CPR and First Aid techniques.
• Demonstrate life-saving skills with precision.
• Use diverse instructional methods to engage and motivate participants.
• Create a supportive and encouraging learning atmosphere.
• Evaluate participant performance and offer constructive feedback.
• Stay up-to-date with CPR and First Aid guidelines and practices.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively while maintaining instructional oversight.
• Record attendance and report training outcomes to the designated coordinator.

Qualifications

• CPR Instructor Certification (preferred).
• CPR Certification (required).
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle (required).
• A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience (preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in adult education and training (preferred).
• Relevant healthcare experience (preferred).

Compensation And Benefits

• Competitive pay rate of up to $30 per hour.
• Per Diem (Part-Time/Casual) based on training needs.
• Up to 27 hours per week (hours are not guaranteed).
