Business Development Manager


Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in IT product sales, looking for a new opportunity to grow your career? We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our clients UK sales team, focusing on the Hospitality and Multi Dwelling Unit (MDU) sectors. This role offers a chance to work with a leading global connectivity and smart home company driving business growth and building valuable partnerships across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue business opportunities in the Hospitality and MDU sectors, developing new reseller partnerships and driving growth in the UK market.
  • Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with Resellers, System Integrators, and Managed Service Providers, working closely with key stakeholders across partner organisations.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies for networking solutions, tailoring proposals to meet customer needs and ensure a competitive edge.
  • Sector Focus: Engage with Hospitality clients such as hotels, restaurants, sporting venues, and holiday parks, as well as MDU customers including student accommodation, care homes, and property management firms.
  • Sales Planning: Formulate strategic sales plans, manage sales pipelines, and provide regular updates to senior management on progress and opportunities.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align sales efforts with broader company objectives and facilitate strong partner relationships.
  • Customer Support and Training: Provide ongoing training and support to partners and customers, ensuring they are fully equipped with product knowledge and solutions.
  • Event Participation: Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, promoting brand awareness and fostering relationships.


Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationwide, with occasional overnight stays.
  • Strong customer-facing skills, including experience delivering presentations and training.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT product sales, specifically within the Hospitality or MDU sectors.
  • Well-organised and able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Proven experience building relationships with C-Level decision-makers and technical teams.
  • Market research and competitive analysis skills.
